Free Repeating Background Patterns

Hello everyone,
Here is this month’s free background image set. This time, the images are somewhat random and are in different sizes, all are square though. These are great to use as repeating patterns in Photoshop, or as website backgrounds, or some may even be suitable for computer desktop backgrounds if the colours are subtle enough.

These free repeating background patterns are all completely free, and you are welcome to use them however you like, just please don’t re-distribute them as your own, because that would be a bit cheeky! 🙂

Now I will say this about this great resource, although yes, meta data, Google+ Authorship, Robot Syntax, User-agents, Sitemaps, HTML elements, etc are all really important. Good SEO can start, and really needs to start and end with good content. Google has clamped down so much, especially with the release of their latest algorithms on the so called “short cuts” that really just look to them like “over optimization” (all page titles matching the urls, meta description, etc, etc.).

So if you want good results, you want to beat the competition, you want to have your site ranked highly, start writing your own content, REAL relevant content. If you have a site that sells purple widgets, use your expertise to tell the world about the color purple, about the world wide use of widgets since the industrial revolution, and start to see your site bubble up to the top.

New Poster Design

Hi everyone, here is a little poster I created in my spare time. It’s a poster targeted for the ever popular and extremely entertaining Murder Mystery Nights. These are basically a dinner party where one of the guests is “murdered” and the rest of the night there are clues given as to the perpetrator. This poster can be fully edited easily in Photoshop to add your own details. It is a very cheap $6 over at Graphic River. Here is a link.

This flyer template is setup to look vintage with a damask pattern background, a pistol, and poison bottles. Text areas for dates and times, drink specials, venue, title, and headings are all easily edited.

PSD files come in three sizes

Letter format 8.5×11 inch with 0.25 inch bleeds.
A4 with bleeds
Postcard (4”x6”) with bleeds.

All Files are CMYK 300DPI. All layers are organized into color coded groups.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your summer if you are living in the Northern Hemisphere. We have been having wonderful weather here in Kelowna. Anyway, enough about trivial things. I have been busy creating some new WordPress themes, and am about to launch the first one in the next day or so, I am excited! In the meantime I have a new offering up on Graphic River.
